As the headline says... Is this doable? How do I use the routing to do this (if it's possible)?

Route your output of the soundcard to the imput of it.(loop) make sure you dont have the "monitor" button activated. Then hit the record button and see if you get a signal in your track meter(which you must). If you have multiple ins and outs you can actually hear the original sound, but i dont think its possible to monitor the actual track that is being recorded, just have to go by the meters.
Hope that helps.

Thanks. I understand what you mean but I'm very new to RPR so I would like to get a more detailed description of the routing please. :)

For this to work I guess I have to connect cables from my soundcard's output to the input, right?
I put together a project a couple of weeks ago to record streaming audio off the internet. I haven't tried it out on flash, and I use an MAudio 24/96 so I don't know if it will work exactly as routed.
