Changing loop restarts playback (SOLVED)

I think this is really annoying... I guess you're all familiar with it. While playing whenever you change the loop markers playback restarts from wherever it is you're setting the marker to. Annoys me each time it happens, why can't you just have the playback continue from wherever it is at the time?

preferences -> audio -> playback -> seek on loop selection change

and boy oh boy would it make a handy action to keybind!
preferably an enable/disable pair, but even a simple toggle.

no, its not. i have it enabled here and the playback doesn't get interrupted when drawing a new loop-selection.
