most times, i want to give someone a direct url.
sometimes, i want to have the url custom formatted so that it either shows a picture, or makes a webpage link.
custom formatting is a great way to make quick and easy links.
however i think some tweaks would make it even better.
for one, whenever you upload something, and it automatically gives you the link in your clipboard, it should ALWAYS be just the direct link. perhaps there can be an option in the custom formatting that sets this. Its a bit annoying having to shave the uneeded parts out when i just want to give someone a quick direct link.
now here comes the brunt of my FR:
multiple custom formatting in the right click context menu.
right now, in the context menu in shup, you have
copy URL
copy File Path
copy with custom formatting.
it would be nice if you could specify different custom formattings for different uses...
like you could name one:
HTML Image
and it would be like
<img src="$url" alt="$filename$timestamp" />
and then you could have another named
HTML Link
and it would be like
<a href="$url">$filename$timestamp</a>
and then in the right click menu, you would have these options:
]
Copy URL
copy file path
copy with Image link
copy with HTML link
etc etc
but ALWAYS when it puts it in your clipboard automatically (like after a screen cap) it should DEFINETLY just be the direct link imo -- or at least make an option deciding what will be the default clipboard...
this would REALLY help me out, and im sure someone else out there somewhere!!!
