I'm finding to use the Mute Envelope, I first have to move the Volume Envelope down a tad, then move the Mute down slightly, then put the Volume Envelope back.

Easy solution: have the Mute Envelope offset down slightly. It doesn't mute until it's in the bottom quarter of the item anyway.

Intuitively you would look for the pan in the middle of the item, and the volume up the top, so a slight offset of the Mute Envelope would fix this easy.

Btw I have a shortcut that toggles all three envelopes on/off, I find that a better workflow.

Just checked out the new item envelopes ...

Colours are fine now, but if I add more than one to the same item (e.g. Volume and Pan) they pile up on top of each other (so you can only see one) even if you have the option turned on in prefs to show envelopes in separate lanes.
)

Nicholas, I'm not seeing a problem with Pan at all...just with Volume obscuring Mute up the top (Pan sits in the middle here).

So moving Mute slightly south by default (which doesn't actually do anything, not until you get into the lower quarter of the take) seems the easy solution to me.

It makes reaper completely unusable for me, as i have no idea when it will crash...

Hmmm...could be a buggy driver then. I would try an earlier driver release and see if it cures it.

yup - its the maudio driver crashing --

If you downgrade to 2.301 does it do it too?

Does it do it always on exit/driver close (i.e. when switching away to other apps and stopped), or does it sometimes happen in the middle of stuff?

Hello Justin!

How are you doing? I'm having the same problem since a little time now like Jason. I even tried to uninstall Reaper from my D drive, clean registry and then Reboot my computer then re-install latest version on the C drive and now just update to the latest version 2.4 and everytime i start Reaper, opens correctly and few second after i got that error like Jason reported. Then i click on "Don't send" then reaper shutsdown and then I reboot reaper and then everything works perfectly.

The crazy thing is that never had this before, start few months ago, i think i've posted this on general thread but never been adressed back. I'm gonna send a screenshot as well so you can see well!

Thank you very much for all the hardwork!

Cheers!

Solar, does your crash happen when opening or closing any particular dialog window, or when doing any specific graphics activity?

I rolled back to earlier maudio keyboard drivers -- and all seems ok, for now. I will report ASAP as soon as anything changes however.
