Fine-tuning envelope segments/points

Here is something else I've run up against while trying to get a tempo map defined against my live track.

I thought that I would be able to grab the tempo envelope segment and slowly raise it until the tempo grid line lined up with the desired bar boundary. However, when I shift-click on the envelope segment and start moving it the adjustments are far too coarse and the tempo grid swings around wildly.

Is there some extra modifier I can use to allow the precise fine-tuning required for this application?

I would suggest "nudge selected points" actions (dragging is a drag....)
