Got a bit bored today so decided to mess around with a new synth I downloaded to see if I can work it into a song at all. It's the DSK AkoustiK Keys vsti which is just a keyboard type of sound I think. It's a bit rough around the edges because reaper keeps crashing - I think its the new keyboard vsti actually. Anyone got a link to one that can sound quite similar that wont crash reaper all the time? The guitar solo is really sloppy (though I kinda want a sloppy sound) and the guitars at the end are a bit out of tune but its frustrating as I cant redo it yet!

Reckon its worth pursuing and any ideas of where it can go next?

edit - changed the vsti to a different one and no more crashes :) DSK sounds great but obviously unusable if it crashes reaper all the time. This new one doesnt sound quite as good to me. Anyway I redid the out of tune guitars and stuff so it sounds a bit better now. Same link as above.

All guitars were done in amplitube 2. The guitar was an Epiphone LP Custom with Bareknuckle Mule pickups. I think the patch I used was the "almost clean strat" with a few tweaks.

Id say it is worth continuing as I didn't feel like stopping it

I don't know how to start something off, I always get frustrated when I try to compose, and I really want to start making some tunes lol

Cheers, I've updated it with bitcrusher on the piano and got rid of the piano over the distorted guitar and replaced with octave chords, fits better and doesnt sound so cheesy now :D
