Heres about a minute long piece I'm still working on. I know its probably not the best mix you'll ever hear, but I'd like to hear some of your gritiques, comments, and opinions about the song itself and the mix. You may need to copy and paste the following URL.

"Your are on page 1 of 20 before the download page"

Sorry but I can't cope with that....

They want to install a plugin = NO

They offer a download of the file instead = http://www.putfile.com/downloadfile/work-in-progress-85

But it starts with "Your are on page 1 of 20 before the download page"

So they put me off - just thought you should know.

I think it's a fun tune and it brightened my day :) Thanks for sharing.

The mix is a little muddy to my ears (and my computer speakers) and some EQ may help.

Out of interest, I placed it in a room using Reaverb and an impulse and then boosted 8-12K a little using Reafir, and cut at around 350-400.

The result probably isn't what you are looking for, but it does crisp up the drums a bit. You could do more specific things with the individual tracks.

Caveat, I have only heard this on my computer speakers, so I don't know if it will translate.

It's at http://rapidshare.com/files/12105133/scottysong.wav.html if you want to listen.

Thanks for taking the time to go thru the 20 pages before downloading! I'm glad I could brighten your day. You got me though, I did not EQ the drums at all. I'll have to work on that today sometime.

I tried to listen to your ReaVerbed version but I couldnt get it to download, some kind of error. It could have something to do with me being on my work computer, so I'll try again at home, I'm curious!!

If you are going to use Putstuff, I suggest using their "putfile" option http://putstuff.putfile.com/

I will still take downloaders you thru 3 pages, but it is pretty quick and obviously better than 20. Looks like others have suggested alternatives as well. I'll have a listen later today
