made a new theme. hope some like it.

changed the fx button and the state of mute, now it's more like: track is ON (green light) or OFF. that's what i'm used to on mixing desks. you can change this with changing the icon names.

instead of a nice bright white look, mine is dark. Cool buttons.

Very cool! The other side of the coin from my eMaRe, and I love it. I like the lighted rings on the buttons, and it looks very pro which is good for reaper now.

i've looked at these buttons a few times now, and i'm really impressed. in my humble opinion, these should be the new default buttons.


EDIT: Aldi? After DLing these and trying them out with several themes, it appears (on my system) that the edges of the buttons aren't clearly defined. When used with a dark theme, the buttons aren't nicely rounded. Their edges bleed onto the background.

They look great in the picture above, just need some work so they work with other themes.

i know, that's why i allways wanted the possebility to have some 24x24 pix icons. when i shrink them to fit, all gets too tiny. but i'm doing a dark theme at the moment. this one's only for very bright themes. sorry, and go vote for 24x24 iconsize and zero space between icons in the feature request ;) i have some other noce ideas for icons.

I love it except for the time line as I find it too dark and I wish the FX and routing buttons were more "obvious". Hrm, maybe I will fiddle with it a bit. But for those two things, this rocks.

seriously, i like the design on the envelope button, but not so crazy about the fx one.

if you're open to making a couple changes, look at the envelope icon in Klingon. i think that design would work fine with your buttons as well.

that would make your envelope design available for your fx button.

just a thought...

yes sure, do some nice things with it. here are the png's but the real source is the included all.rdw file. it's for realdraw 4 that i used for making the buttons. it includes all buttons and layers and stuff.. the png's are no other than the icons so they won't help a lot. i think the real-draw testversion is unlimited for 30 days.
