Reaper mixer interface freezing

the mixer will randomly freeze, meaning all buttons and faders won't move but will still react.

This happens with the mixer floated to my secondary screen. When frozen, I can press mute and it will mute, but you can't see anything happen on the mixer.

I can restart reaper, and it will go back to normal.

Using 64bit, happens generally while playback.
