Semplify Minutes:Seconds Ruler

The project I'm working on just now is an audio drama, so I have the ruler in minutes:seconds:ms. However, I find the ruler almost completely useless, as it picks the most random divisions possible, making it very difficult to read at a glance.

Firstly, why would I want to see milliseconds, unless I'm zoomed in so that the entire window view only shows one or two seconds. When viewing 10 minutes worth, I don't need milliseconds.

Secondly, why would I want the ruler to show markers in increments of 48,34,25 etc. seconds? It makes it so hard to tell exactly what time it is, you end up just estimating it. Surely it should pick nice round numbers like 1s,5s,10s,30s,1m,5m,10m, etc. like an actual ruler would, you know something akin to decimal. I don't do reapimal.


Please, please, please, please, please, please can this be semplified? Please.
