ALAC (= now open source!) support
import/export lossless compressed audio with the codec Apple uses in iTunes
ALAC has been open sourced: http://alac.macosforge.org/
Please include all the awesome sauce in REAPER for use with music files with iTunes and iOS devices (iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad).

hello,
I understand nothing to this link : http://alac.macosforge.org/trac/browser#trunk/codec
I've just downloaded the "ALACconvert.xcodeproj" file into the "convert-utility" directory, but so what... What can I do with it ? Need I anything else ? Please help me !

What you are looking at the site is program source code and related files that won't do anything with Reaper. Someone experienced in programming (preferably the Cockos developers) would need to look at all that and make it work with Reaper.
