Copy selected area of MIDI item Can't works fine
Copy selected area of MIDI item, paste, and the Item is not the same.
I select the item, get the selection range, copy of the selected item, paste item in another track.
The copied item does not have the same range as the original item.

Sorry for the trouble! Please post bugs suspects and help requests in the corresponding forums first. This is not a discussion forum.
This is the issue tracker, a database for reproducible (and confirmed in a previous forum discussion) REAPER bugs following a structure laid out here:
