CPU can't go above 52% ????
no matter how much effects I add

I try to go beyond 52% cpu load, and I just can't...

reaper start to stutter with clicks instead of going beyond 52%...

wt.?

oh...
what's the thing with the Total CPU? (the total cpu can't go above 52, RT can..)

This looks like an issue where the contrived test case is built wrong. Reaper distributes the CPU load across multiple CPU cores per-track, not per-plugin. So when adding more and more plugins into one track, there inevitable comes a limit when no more can be added to the same track and the CPU use won't be even near to 100% in multicore systems.

edit: Or perhaps this is some other issue, hard to say. Anyway, best to discuss this elsewhere.

No, you just need to read the Issue Tracker's Header:

"If you need REAPER help, have a performance problem, or are not 100% certain that the unexpected behavior is a bug, please discuss it in the user forum, not here. "

Just stop and think about it for a minute before posting, I think it's not that hard, isn't it? :D

Yes, this belongs in the forum.

Certain Reaper preferences may force all FX within a particular folder to share a thread (core), that appears to be the case here.
