Serious Undo problems with 3rd party VST plugins
Several 3rd party plugins have problems with REAPER's Undo.

Example:
-> Voxengo Marvel GEQ V1.1 http://www.voxengo.com/product/marvelgeq
-> load it
-> move a fader with the mouse
-> Undo
Result: Plugin unloaded.
Expected: Only revert of the last fader movement!
Very ugly behaviour not to get proper Undo steps for each fader/knob movement. If it's just the timing limit then it definitely should be lowered to "real world" situations!

Can't duplicate it here with 4.01, moving a fader with the mouse adds an undo point as expected. Can duplicate when moving a fader using mousewheel, however.

I can reproduce it all the time in 4.01.
-> add plugin, don't wait too long and move a fader
Result: no undo step for the fader movement created
Waiting a bit between plugin load and fader dragging fixes it. So obviously the timer is set too high.

Confirmed with following plugins in 4.76:
Rea plugs, any tickbox. E.g. 'enabled' in ReaEQ
FabFilter ProQ 2, move a band, undo. Plugin is unloaded.
There is definitely some sort of time-related thing going on. If you wait ~2 seconds before ticking the box for e.g., then undo it works fine.
Related, most likely, to that time issue is the fact that an undo will guarantee-ably remove two actions if you undo quickly after the second action. This applies to FX only, other aspects of Reaper undo very responsively and accurately, such as creating new tracks or deleting items.
