Volume fader range and shape should not affect other gain-related parameters
Many gain related parameters, such as sends/receives or the gain parameters of Reaplugs like ReaComp and ReaEQ, are affected by a single setting with a misleading description

When the user sets the maximum of the volume fader range in Preferences > Appearance > VU Meters/faders, and/or change its shape, those settings also affects many other gain related parameters, such as sends/receives or the gain parameters of Reaplugs like ReaComp and ReaEQ.

This should not be the case, since the preference setting clearly states its intended purpose, and it does *not* mention the sends/receives or the parameters or the ReaPlugs.

Discussion thread.

An overview of all the settings that are affected by this 'Volume fader range' setting:

Track send/receive levels;

Every gain related parameter in every ReaPlug, except 'knee' settings in ReaComp / ReaXcomp:

- ReaComp: threshold, wet, dry;
- ReaDelay: feedback, tap volume, wet, dry;
- ReaEQ: band gain, output gain;
- ReaFIR: output gain;
- ReaGate: input, hysteresis, wet, dry, noise;
- ReaInsert: send volume, return volume;
- ReaNINJAM: master volume, metronome volume, channel volume,
- ReaPitch: wet, dry, shifter volume;
- ReaSurround: ind. input volume, ind. output volume, center trim;
- ReaVerb: wet, dry;
- ReaVerbate: wet, dry;
- ReaVocode: wet, dry;
- ReaVoice: wet, dry, gain @ 0 velocity;
- ReaXcomp: threshold, band gain, output gain;
- ReaSamplOmatic5000: volume, min. volume,
- ReaSynth: volume.

Strangely enough, when using the *generic* UI for the ReaPlugs, this 'Volume fader range' setting does *not* affect the range of these parameters. Go figure...
