Values shown in Automation Envelope tooltips

I've just noticed this anomaly:

In Automation envelopes, when I hover over a point at the Edit Cursor the correct value is shown in the tooltip (and in the ECP).

But, if I:
(a) drag the point at the Edit Cursor (but the value in the ECP is updated correctly)
(b) drag another point
(c) hover over a point not at the Edit Cursor
then the tooltip does not show the correct value (instead it shows the decimal amount in the range 0 to 1).

This means that to set an envelope point I need to stop dragging and read the tooltip then restart dragging. And so on.
