junXion does that sort of thing just fine for me. (And since OS X is 'just FreeBSD' you can simply install it on your Linux box, no?
) Also, since you're already running Pd for that VCA-style group patch, take a look at [hid] in Pd-extended. That should enable you to build exactly what you need as well (cross-platform).
