Default late sorry

So sorry for being late on this reply. Life can be a handful at times

Yes my guitar signal is very hot due to my pickups. I was on the road and using a rocksmith cable with asio4all and it was clipping due to it not having a gain nob. Normally I use a scarlett 2i2 and can turn the gain down to reduce clipping with chugs, so with that i don't really need a limiter. Also Bias is turned down all the way in the control section. The reason I was asking about a limiter is because my audio professor recommended using one and I was looking for help finding one a good one or using the stock ones effectively. But even with the gain turned down on my scarlett interface I still get a little push sound on the low end with chugs, I was thinking it might be the noise gate but im not sure. Any ideas?

And yes I am very new to reaper and I am also learning pro tools. They are very useful and I love it. I still need to view the reaper guide and more into videos.

Thanks guys!
