I read from several people today that Atlas quality has greatly declined in recent years. You've got the old ones.
Samson stands are poor to average quality.
Avoid "Musician's Gear" brand stands from Musicians Friend. Terrible quality.
Apex makes some decent stands, useable but not super high quality. The short V-base stands are great.
My next stand will likely be a DIY combo of plumbing and lighting/grip gear.
