If you set it in project settings you can start at 1.1.00 and have two bars too! Project Settings / Project start measure -1.
To me sheet music starts at 1.1.00 so I like my songs to start on bar one, beat one and still get 8 count in. This does it. Pre-roll during record let's you catch any grace notes that might fall before the beat.
