"May be" problematic. Usually, that only means that in some
rare cases the plug-in GUI must sit in a floating window to
prevent plug-in crashing. But mostly it works fine.

And just in case you would still prefer to use 32 bit version,
you still can on a 64 bit system.

So there is absolutely no reason not to upgrade.
