PS: works GOOD IMO !!!!!!!!!!!!!
that doesn't look to be the same thing. the idea is to control the triggering of specific samples according to velocity. example: let's say i sampled my snare drum 4 times using a rim shot, a light hit, a medium hit, and a hard hit. with a multi velocity sampler i can assign each sample to a velocity range. let's say 0-50 for the rim shot, 51-80 for the light hit, 81-100 for the medium, and 101-127 for the hard hit. only one sample is fired at a time. to add to that, a group of samples could be assigned to each velocity range to achieve different or more realistic sounds.
