Default Reaper Keeps Resetting My KNOBS!

So I'm using GURU with Reaper and when I set the tune knobs in Guru to how I want them (each engine has a tune knob to tune to whatever you want) it will work in that tune until I hit stop in Reaper or the back rewind button. Reaper resets all the tune knobs to 0... so I lose the tune I want and I can't render it properly or listen to it properly. What's going on? I've tried messing around with so many settings to no avail...

No, there aren't any. At the end there is an "All Notes Off" entry.

You can tune each engine individually in Guru (there are 8 engines). There is also a "Master Tune" knob that will tune them all accordingly... I just used that and it seems to be working fine, but it's just really strange the individual knobs reset... it's not just for the tune knobs either. This has happened with other knob controls in Guru as well. This all started happening with the use of Reaper I believe.

Hello MTBackus and welcome to these forums. You'll find many helpful people here and a lot of useful information.

Is this it?

Are you using the latest version of Reaper? There was a bug a few months ago where some plugin state would get reset.

That was exactly it... Thank you very much, DarkStar. Interesting because when I used an older version of Reaper with Guru, this wouldn't happen... Is this a new setting? What's the point of it? Live performance or something?

Resetting pitch/CC is fairly new.

I can't remember the reason for them being added - but I'm sure it was a valid one

I see... What is CC? Should I uncheck this too?

CC -> MIDI Control Change number. You might want to uncheck this if you're doing a lot of work in MIDI editor.
