Default Tascam - US-1641 USB

Anyone using one of these? Whats the scoop? Also I searched the net trying to get some info on the the converter specs and found nothing, anybody know were I can read up on the AD/DA converters used by this unit.

I have used this for about a year now and I love it. Some people report issues with it since it is USB, however I have used it on 3 different PCs and still no issues. As for the AD/DA I am not sure where to look... but for $400 ($300 if you look hard enough) you can't beat it.

I bought one 6 weeks ago at ebay for a very reasonable price and can say: very easy installed, smooth operation and a good sound. Tons of connections possible.
I'm a newbie to digital recording (not to recording at all) and also recently discovered reaper and the two go together very fine (Cubase really annoyed me.
And USB 2.0 works very good, if you have enough pc power. No problems so far.
