Default How to save maually modified mixer layout

Hi, I'm using default comala 5 Theme which I really like. I use the narrow layout in the mixer panel but I don't like the size of slider and vu meter which are too small. I can easily modify this by stretching the part of strip I want to adjust, but my question is: Is it possible to save this new adjusted strip or cut/paste it to the other tracks in the project? I sometimes have 70 tracks and manually adjusting them for every project is a pain.

On the attachment, strip 25 is default and 24 is how I want it to be by default. I tried working my way through Walter code but didn't manage to find the right way to do it.

Any input would help.

That's not WALTER, that's something that would be stored in Reaper itself... probably in project settings, I would think.

You could try saving it as a track template, I'm not sure if templates include the height or not.

If understand correct you want to set the default heights of the different sections (fader, inserts, sends...) of the mixer?

There is a modifier key so when you adjust one channel and holding down STRG+SHIFT I believe you adjust every channel.

I got fed up with finding them discombobulated all the time so I made a startup script that sets them all the same, since that works for me. I think new tracks use the last tweak that you did, which follows the startup script, which is also OK with me. That's on my main machine.

This is an example of the two script functions I'm aware of. One sets the total percentage of FX/send area, the other sets percentage of sends vs. FX. As far as I know, there is no function to set inserts vs knobs. This works on selected tracks. You can edit the 'user variables.'

Code:
//set extended mixer heights of selected tracks.eel

// User Variables
send_fx_height = 0.5; // editable: 0 minimum 1 maximum. Total of allowable send/FX area.
sends_percent = 0.33333333; // editable: 0 minimum 1 maximum. Total of send vs. FX area.

//////////////////////////////////////////////////

function Fn_Set_MCP_Height(fs,sr) local(cst,i,trk)
(
  cst = CountSelectedTracks(0);
  i = 0;
  loop(cst,
    trk = GetSelectedTrack(0, i);
    SetMediaTrackInfo_Value(trk, "F_MCP_FXSEND_SCALE", fs);
    SetMediaTrackInfo_Value(trk, "F_MCP_SENDRGN_SCALE", sr);
    i+=1;
  );
  TrackList_AdjustWindows(0);
);

defer("Fn_Set_MCP_Height(send_fx_height,sends_percent)");

That's right;
  • Alt-drag = resize all selected tracks
  • Ctrl-drag = resize all tracks.

alt-drag
crtl-drag

Thank you so much, this is what I was looking for.

Now I have to find something to do with my new Walter knowledge (that I do not need)!
