Default forum seems to make links screwed up sometimes ?

Sorry, didn't know where to post this...

When linking to 'single posts', the forum software (or whatever) sometimes seems to screw up links and replaces part of it with "...".

This happened in my EEL link collection thread

http://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=147278

see post here

http://forum.cockos.com/showpost.php...4&postcount=13

(I know quite sure this link was working originally)

and here are other examples where this seems to have happened

http://wiki.cockos.com/wiki/index.ph..._S%26M_Cycling

(second and following links in the text there)

e.g.

Looks like someone quoted the link manually via highlighting its text (instead of copying the url properly).

Hm...don't think that's it.

If you read lb0's comment for example

Quote:
I simply opened the single post page of the relevant post and copied the url into my first post between tags.

that's what I did also in my Eel link collection thread and I know quite sure the links were working initially, yet at a point some got broken.
