CTS 1 (beta)
I am needing some testers...this is a first draft beta.
This is a theme intended for touchscreens and large/dual displays. If you are looking for a touchscreen friendly GUI for REAPER, or just need a big, high visibility theme, then this may be the one for you. It requires at least a minimum 930 pixels vertically for the mixer.
To be able to test the theme, just follow this link:
http://tritonreaperthemes.webs.com/apps/forums/
Then, sign up to the forum and go to:
Forum Home > Beta & Alpha Test Themes > CTS 1
The link and info is in the first post of the thread on my forum.
Thank You,
Cincikat

Fuckin'big. Going to give this a whirl.
Gave it a whirl. It's too big for my 24 inch screen! Nice and clear , though the fader caps on the mixer are a little noisy for me.
Love how the volume control on the TCP shrinks to a knob which shrinks too .
This ought to look nice on a 4k screen.

Too much for a 24"...?! Damn! Well, thank you for trying it out, and the positive mentions. And, yes it should do well on a hi-res display...

Sorry, Ivan... )~:
This is a "first draft", and I'm going to expand on it very soon...including making it fit better on other display sizes.
The idea for making this theme came from seeing some people here on the forum talking about a theme for touchscreen setups, and hi-resolution (4k) screens. As it seemed there was a need for such a theme, I thought I would give it a try. I knew going in that it wasn't going to be for everyone. Just needing to know if I'm on the right track with it...

Well Cincikat, I'd suspect you are.
I somewhat doubt that 4k for viewing TV makes any real sense, but 4ks for computer I consider quite reasonable.
Although I can't imagine that I'll be working at a 4k touchscreen in the near future, I'd say:
Keep it going. What you do here is really awesome.

Hey cincikat69,
Just joined your site & downloaded the theme.
I use a 27" @1920x1080. It's not a touchscreen.
The theme looks fine without the transport docked, otherwise the mcp doesn't fit.

There's not more than Reaper has to offer anyway. I think it just seems busy, because Cincikat shows which elements his (and any other) theme(s) could have. If you e.g. don't have FX or sends (and receives) on the MCP or you just don't show them there, it probably looks way more relaxed. It's a matter of how you set it up. But for use with a touchscreen, I think the elements (of which not all of them have to be visible) have a reasonable size.

I like this! Big buttons and faders! I wish I had a big enough monitor to give this a try...
Anyone have a 4K monitor and can post a screen shot?
