Hi,
Thanks for the replies.
Nolman, actually in this case there is no file yet as I haven't actually recorded anything to this new project. All I'm doing is adding one audio track which is a guitar plugged into the m-track. So no recording is done at this point. I've tried using both mtrack inputs and they both pass audio to reaper. Just can't get any of the sound to the right output of the mtrack. Either way, I get nothing on the right output.
Here is the test I did...
The following tests were performed using a guitar plugged into one of the two inputs of an M-Track Plus usb audio interface. One track was created and outputs were applied only to the channel, not the Master. It didn’t mater which input on the mtrack was used as the same result was achieved.
In the routing matrix, the outputs selected where on the “1.” row just under the master output row. The meters on the track always showed signal on both segments regardless of pan obviously. My PC is an ASRock Intel i7-4770 running windows 8.1
Test 1:
MTrack:Left Input => usb => Reaper: Analog Input 1 => Reaper out: => Analog Output 1(stereo/MC)
Result:
* Track Pan(Full Left) produced audio on both L&R outputs (not expected)
* Track Pan(Center) produced audio on both L&R outputs (expected)
* Track Pan (Right) produced NO AUDIO on either outputs (not expected)
Test 2:
MTrack:Left Input => usb => Reaper: Analog Input 1 => Reaper : Analog Output 1
Result:
* Track Pan(Full Left) produced audio on both L&R outputs (not expected)
* Track Pan(Center) produced audio on both L&R outputs (expected)
* Track Pan (Right) produced NO AUDIO on either outputs (not expected)
Test 3:
MTrack:Left Input => usb => Reaper: Analog Input 1 => Reaper : Analog Output 2
Result:
* Track Pan(Full Left) produced no audio (expected)
* Track Pan(Center) produced no audio (not expected)
* Track Pan (Right) produced NO AUDIO on either outputs (not expected)
This has got to be an reaper asio problem right? I used quite a few other asio apps and have never experienced this problem.
