importing midi so it lines up with the tracks of the same name

Ok I'm trying to export some midi from guitar pro5 imported to reaper via drag, and drop into reaper. What is the best way to get the tracks to line up with the tracks in reaper of previous songs i did. For instance I got 16 tracks in midi in guitar pro in a song, and i want them to all line up with the track of the same name that I already have in reaper. Is there a easy way to do this, so that reaper doesn't just add new tracks in a different spot. I think in the past i had to make sure all the tracks are in the same order between reaper, and guitar pro. Right now there mixed up and have been moved around, in guitar pro, like wise in reaper. Example reaper has track 1: guitar, track 2: bass, track 3: keyboards. The guitar pro has a mixed up version of them three tracks.
