Default Stop REAPER from clearing plugins buffers?

Hey Guys,

I have a few plugins which have a freeze function that loops a section of input continuously until disengaged. My problem is that as soon as I hit play on the transport REAPER flushes the plugins buffers so any material that may have been looping is wiped out. Is there any way of preventing this?
I know there is an option to not flush upon transport stop, but is there anything similar for playback start?

Thank you.
