Default Missing in Reaper: presets for the existing plugins

Unlike other software, reaper does not come with presets for EQ, Reverb and other plugins,...
I know it's in the Stash here, but hard to find (that system is very user unfriendly)
So why can't it come with Reaper, some good presets?

I dont think that presets are a good idea, especially for eqs. all they do is written on the gui and noone knows what your signals look like and sound like. a preset for an eq qould be that dependent of the material, that it is completelx pointless.

nearly the same goes for presets for a comp. a preset for a comp is guessing in the dark. the comp doesnt know what he is expecting, so how should a preset work?

for reverbs its another thing. you can have presets that get you into the ballpark, lets say room, hall, ambience or whatever.

I'm just missing some standards to get started in Reaper, other software is way more userfriendly at this point.

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding your post but there are stock presets in there already for ReaComp, ReaDelay, ReaEQ, ReaGate, ReaVerbate and ReaXComp.

Can you access these already in each plug-ins preset drop down menu?

Anyway, I agree that presets can be helpful as a starting point or for learning but will nearly always require tweaking.
