Default Pan Normalize in Item Properties

In the item properties we have a Volume Normalize but it would be nice to see a Pan Normalize option as you have in other apps such as WaveLab.

Today I'm mastering a ton of songs from the 80s that only exist on cassette tape.

The balance of the left and right channels is pretty far off but not consistently from song to song. Some are worse than others.

This is a case where it'd be really nice to have Pan Normalization built-in to REAPER, or something that can at least exist in SWS or ReaPack.

I'd be willing to pay somebody to script this.

Could you explain or post an excerpt from the WaveLab manual or another source how Pan Normalization works ?

edit:
Found it:

You want the Loudness Pan Normalization I guess ? (not the Peak Pan Normalization)

Will do. Sorry, I thought I was subscribed to this thread.

I will actually have to look close at what WaveLab can do but probably Loudness Pan Normalization. Just a way to make songs that feel like they are left or right heavy to feel and sound more balanced in terms of the stereo field.

No Fish made a script that does this but I don't think anything has been added natively.

I'm not sure where you can find it though as it's been awhile.

It's in my ReaPack repository ('Normalize take pan (Loudness based) (experimental)'.
