Default Reaper, Logitech t650 touchpad and Windows7

Is this a working combo? Does anybody in here use it? It's suggested for Windows 8 due to its gesture and multi-touch optimizations, but what about Windows 7?
This thing sure looks tempting as mouse replacement!?

I don't like it (never used it in Reaper, just as a touch pad in general). I have had one for at least a year or two and have never used it for more than 10 minutes. To give it a fair shake, I pulled it out again, last week, 10 minutes later, I stopped using it.

That was with Windows 8 so I don't expect it to be "funner" in Windows 7. Could just be me though and YMMV but I thought it was really cool till I got one. Went back to my Logitech Performance MX which I have about 5 of because it's my favorite mouse eva!

That's good to know, karbo! Thanks a lot!

That said: it took me a while to get used to my graphics tablet as well, the first 3 days it (or I) was shaky as hell, but then it felt more natural and in the end I could draw pretty "naturally" with it.

Maybe it's a question of giving it some time in order to "learn" it.
So ATM it's 60% "no", 40% "why not give it try"

It wasn't a learning thing for me IIRC. I don't like touch pads on laptops and this was well, just a bigger one of those. However! You might have much better luck. You know how it is, different people naturally take to different things so I don't want to discourage because it might be perfect for you.

If you get one, let me know how you like it.
