Default a/b item fx

Im still learning reaper...
Today I was mastering an album, so i layed all the mixes on one track only and added an inspector to check level and frequency spectrum. Then I used item fx to add compression, reverb and eq to each of the mixes.I found this way very fast and comfortable but...Is there a way to bypass with only one click all the item fx (like pressing the red button in tcp or shift clicking in the mix) in order to a/b ?
thanks!

Thanks NAS, your plugin is pretty cool
Wouldn´t it be good to be able to by pass ITEM fx tough? Just pressing a button would bypass all the plugins applied to a particular item....

You can open the FXChain window for the take FX, select as many FX as you want in there and hit CTRL+B.

Using takes is better: Right-click the imported item, then go 'Take->Duplicate active take'. Now you have 2 takes with the same file, place your FXchain on the second take. Now you can toggle between the takes by clicking on them or hitting Shift+T (not sure if that's default), only one of them has take FX, the other one is all dry.

The "Take" solution is best IME. You could also have two different FX chains to a/b, or more takes for a/b/c/etc... Simply select the item and hit "T" to cycle through 'em.

or you can set up separate tracks with diff FX chains, select (all) your item, and move trhu the tracks

(num key 2 to move down, num key 8 to move up by default)
