Oh, fuck!

God-damn. I am glad he is without pain. I will miss his rants and personality.

I remember when I did "The Way You Play" exercise where various people recorded lead guitar (or whatever) over some track I made and he was right there, as were many of you.

I also remember playing on one of his tunes which was a great experience and a tune I listened to many, many times.

The sweetest memory I have is when he asked if I would mind if he "played out" one of my tunes in his set, since he liked it so much. Now, that was a true honor.

Love you Ted.

Love you guys.

Peace, Love, Joy and Harmony.

Yes, very sad.... I enjoyed many of his posts and insights in several of the audio forums.

A lot of us are getting older. Quite a few of the old timers over at the Telecaster Forum where I used to hang out are gone now ... along with the wisdom they offered up. Our forums here seem to have quite a growing collection of what might be considered 'old timers', no?

I'm sad reading his blog now thinking about how to get buried and everything... asking for comments in the blog or visits, and mixing with REAPER at the hospital.

So long, Ted. And I suspect, like any reasonably minded creative spirit, the first thing you would have done upon arrival is look for Jimi Hendrix—but stay away from that crazy drummer, Keith Moon!

Thank you for all your contributions to this forum. Be well where you are.

P.S. I also read the [ https://lemmingtonblog.wordpress.com ] posts. Those were days of serious courage. And still: Mixing & Reaper. We love what we love to the end.

Wow. Gorgeous song.

I had to come back to finish this post, I was a bit confused and maybe even shaken up. I had shared some emails with "Tedwood" a few years back, and even did some early collaborating with him. A fine human with a huge heart for humanity. His music lives forever.

He was a guitar Ace, his version of Hendrix 'Little Wing' rivals anyone who did it since Hendrix imo, a fine slide player also, he really impressed me on several occasions.

Go in peace, friend.

The rest of us, a reminder in our own mortality. Now think who in your life is important and cherish them. Realign your perspectives, go out and really live your life, chase some goals, use your gifts.

Time stands still for no-one...

Having watched both my parents slide slowly and painfully down the same route, I am just glad that he has found an end to his suffering.

And once again I find myself contemplating that we don't allow animals to suffer like that.

Bye, Ted.

P.S. If you are in the UK, Cancer Research UK needs all the help it can get. Even a few pennies make a difference.

Sad to hear this, I'm glad he's not suffering anymore though, I watched my Dad go through the same thing, & it's just terrible to say the least...

Gotta admire him doing what he loved until the end with his mixing/etc though...

RIP Ted...
