Default MIDI skips if note is on first bar

I have a project where a midi note starts on the very first bar.
This results in a skip in the midisound as if that note isn't played or played right.

If I move the midi item up one count, there's no problem
If I move it back to the first count, it skips again.

I've zoomed in as far as I could to see if the note somehow could be starting before the first count, but couldn't.
Even if that was true, this shouldn't happen.

To work around this, what's an easy way to select all tracks and automation envelopes and move them right a bit?
I can then use a start/end marker to crop the project.

I think that that's a pretty old problem. I thought that it had been fixed.

Anyway:
-- draw a 1-bar time selection at the very start of the project
-- right-click the timeline lane
-- select "Insert empty space in time selection"

Thanks D, great workaround.

I think the bug crept back in again. This project started with beta 5 and there was no problem until about beta 9.

No, i've the same problem on 4.16pre26 using FL Studio as VSTi plugin in "Live Mode" (to trigger FL patterns).
Solved with ""Insert empty space in time selection" but it's not a normal behavior.
