Default Possible to simulate physics using JFSX/Reascript/LUA ?

Hi,

I made a prototype in Blender Game Engine of a physics simulation of a DJ turntable that proved to me that the unique sound of DJ Turntabalism/Deckology/Scratching can be reproduced by using a physics simulation of the rotating turntable platter. It sounds a lot better than "faked" effects ...

A Reaper way or a VST that can replicate my Blender Turntable physics prototype ?

So do forum members think it's feasible to be able to make some kind of physics simulation in scripting that could effect the play speed control of Reaper directly ? It would not have to be an entire physics engine as in used in many game engines because the movement is limited to a turntable platter. However I doubt this would be simple and am looking at using my prototype as a kind virtual control surface that would output MIDI CC that can then be used to control Reaper or anything else.

Yeahllo-pretty cool yep.
Do you have a direct link to the .blend file? pm?
Reaper has job/scrubbing in the timeline so it shouldn't rea lly be to hard scripting it.
Having owned 2 sets of 1200's in the past>might know a little bit about turntabalizm,if you want actual feedback.
When 1st started blender, interacting with a soundcard and midi was what I initially wanted, but just didn't seek all the code and knowledge to rea lize that wanting.
Python is not complex for those that do it regular and know how it works.
I<just don't know that.^ =)
Hope you get more feedback on this, because turntables are not easy to emulate convincingly.
I know that!^ because having tried many different ways.
