Default Remove horizontal split midi track??

I have split a midi track horizontal. So one is on top of the other and I can select one of them. But how do I remove the split? I can delete the content, but cannot merge or delete on of them. Any ideas?

When you say you have a "split midi track" I assume that what you have is a single MIDI track with multiple "takes". Each of these takes appear as a smaller sub-channel and only play when active. If that's the case then you can select the take that you want to get rid of and delete it.

Select take that you want to delete > Right Click >Take > "Delete Active Take". Or, depending on your key commands, Select take > [CTRL]+D.

These takes are created when you are recording in loop mode.

Yes, that was my problem. But the extra track was created different. The chords were written as arpeggio notes using an arpeggiator om a split track.

Meanwhile got it figured out. Bur thanks for the reply.
