Default Carbon hosts

A bit off topic, but does anyone have a list of Plugin hosts that still need Carbon plugins? Or where I could find such a list?

Not really... I guess I could test which of the hosts I have currently installed still use (but not necessarily need) Carbon.

Thanks. It didn't occur to me that a host might use but not require Carbon! I can test it myself if need be, I was just hoping someone else knew at least some hosts.

All 32bit VST2 hosts and bridges use Carbon except Reaper when hosting plugins that implement Cockos' extension (e.g. all IPlug plugins).

I think almost all up-to-date versions of common AU hosts use Cocoa, except maybe DP7

Ah, that makes sense, looking in the VST 2.4 SDK files it only talks about carbon.

So do you only use the IPLUG_NO_CARBON_SUPPORT you have added to WDL-OL for AU?

No, that is just enabled for 64 Bit builds
