oh man, i grooooved all the way through this. i'm a pretty big fan of Latin music anyway and have a fair collection started (mostly Salsa). still, that easy flowing, cruisy, sound to this took me to some of the same places. think i'm gonna hit 'play' again...

Thanks guys.

mschuster, I used Vegas Platinum 9 for this. I usually just use iMovie but this one had multiple pictures.

Sounds like Santana at his smoothest. I always like the music that you play, and this is no exception. I am usually struck by your precision, and it is still there on this song, but just a little less obvious because the rhythm guitar is electric.

This would work well with a classical guitar playing the rhythm too, perhaps with a bit of rasgueado.

Very smooth Tim,
I'm kickin back by the pool on my bannana lounge in sunnies with a beer right now and this sound is just perfect.

Well, i wish i was , but that is where this tune took me, very nicely played especially the finger style guitar, you play very well indeed.

Cheers

Thanks tspring. Good idea about the rasgueado accompaniment.

This has such a great flow to it. Relaxing and smooth. Your leads are absolutely wonderful. I love how you play (I think you already know this), and I get so much out of it. Your guitar speaks as if it were a poet delivering impassioned prose.

Really nice tone all around as well.

Enjoyed this very much.

Thanks very much kindafishy. Good to hear as I wasn't sure about the electric gtr tone. I haven't recorded amps all that much.
