Default V3 Theme ?

Hi all,

I just installed V5 to check out, i know i'm late to the party
but better late than never as they say

I can't find the V3 theme, only Default, Default 4 & Classic 1.x

Does anyone know where i can find the V3 theme
and does it work alright with V5 ?

Cheers

Hmm, it is listed when I click [Options] > Themes. Have a look in the AppData ColorThemes folder.

Perhaps there is an Installer option that needs enabling?

I did check the AppData ColorThemes folder.
and it wasn't in there, the V4 & 5 themes were the only ones
in the folder.

This is a fresh install on a freshly formatted laptop
which has just been updated to Win 10 so there
won't be any themes leftover from previous installs of V3 or 4 etc.

I'm guessing if i can get the V3 zip file from somewhere and put it
in the AppData ColorThemes folder, it should be available ?

I was also thinking it might not be usable in V5 and thats why it wasn't
in the installer ?

Cheers

Current default install comes only with v4 and v5 default themes in the Color Themes folder. The Classic_1.x theme is baked into Reaper itself. If there are other themes in there, they are from older installs. The old themes will work like they always did.

Importing an older fully saved configuration could help. Or doing a temporary portable install of an older Reaper version and fetching the older theme(s) from there. And then exporting the current full configuration, those are always handy if something goes wrong or missing.

I've got it working, i just copied the Default V3
theme from my other computer and put it in
the AppData ColorThemes folder and it was availble
in the theme menu.

Thanks for the help, much appreciated.

Cheers

I'm using the V3 theme too. I like the meters better and all my icons are also geared for v3.

Yeah, That's what I did, I saved my settings in Reaper-4 and imported them to R5, that way I retained all my own settings.
