Big Thanks to NKB for the reaxcomp tip..took the pressure off event horizon.I still think I can get a couple more dBs though without destroying everything..just need to figure it out...the project is ongoing.

Listening to it at the same level as a few other tracks some of those geetars at the beginning have a bit of the old 'ouch' factor, meaning too much treble/upper mid + sharp transients. Listening on my 8" JBLs.
I had them guitars nice all day..and just before I rendered I thought..hang on.those guitars are a bit dull... my ears must have been a bit tired.Tits.
I shoulda left it for a few hours.next time for sure

Love the song. Unfortunately I can't currently gauge the quality because I'm listening to it and posting this on my phone... go figure. What I hear sounds good though.
OK I am finally in a place where I could give this a good listen. The quality of it is tight as usual. I've listened to it several times now and I must say, and I don't mean this as an insult at all, it started reminded me a bit of Blur's "Girls and Boys", particularly the vocals. So I can kind of agree with suleiman's description of Hawkwind through a BritPopRock filter.
I do love how you take any subject matter, like your new phone, and make it into brilliantly packed little bursts of music. I should probably take your example and get to writing some lyrics to some of my stuff.
Cool. I added that disclaimer because you never know how others might react to comparisons. For me that similarity to Blur is a good thing; that era in particular.
Hooky track! That's your deal, eh? You can really craft a great hook. Your tunes are full of them. This one is no exception.
Agree with Sammy, vocs sound like they can come up. The heavy delay, although kinda cool, is obscuring them a bit too. You're masking yourself with yourself, Gaz.
That recurring two bar guitar/bass riff reminds me of (and this is a compliment... so I hope you take it that way) ... reminds me of Devo's Freedom of Choice album - an all-time fav.

Sony xperia M! I'm in the future now boy!
I think this track is gonna make t onto my next album..so..I'll dry them vocals up a bit and make them louder.Thats a good suggestion

Is that a very acid-tripped Michael Rod on your video?
Edit missed the first second of the vid before the acid kicks in, obviously, yes!
Great use of his voice. Really liked it. Love the way your guitars and basses lock together. Yeah it is a bit Devo-ish, but not quite so disconcerting as they can be (love Devo!!)
I didn't mind the echoey-ness but maybe just have it as a more novelty bit and keep the rest of the song drier.
Anyway, as ever, you're streets ahead of the pack, it must be said!
