Default Reaper 5.40 Preserve PDC On VS. Off - Glitch with Takes

I am running Version 5.40 x64 of Reaper on Windows 7 x64. I Have made a short video showing my issue. No sound, but it isn't needed.

I just wanted to see if anyone knew anything about this, whether it is actually a bug or a potential setting I have made somewhere. I don't remember it doing this, and I tried making a post about this a while ago with a sever lack of responses as well.

Just looking for any clarification if it's happening with others or what may be causing it. Thanks!

i did a simple test with the Virtual midi keyboard and no plugin on the two tracks (PDC on and off) and I get notes perfectly aligned, no indent...

PDC is related to plugins, so it might be that you have some plugin on the two tracks (virtual instruments?) or maybe it's related with your midi interface if you used an external keyboard?

I just checked a recording on a track with no plugins, and it still gave me the indents. I also tried recording a mono input (which wasn't connected at the time) and recorded silence a few times and still were getting these indents as well.

I feel like there must be some sort of setting somewhere I accidentally changed with a quick key or something. I don't even know what setting would cause behavior like this or what it would be good for

I'm going to bump this since it's been a pretty long time since I got any replies, if that's ok. I'm still having this issue, unfortunately.

I'm still getting this problem in the newest updates so any ideas would be great!

Do you have plug-ins on the master track? Can you zip a small .RPP project file demonstrating the problem and attach it here?
