Default Recording SD2

Not sure if this should be on the Reaper or Toontrack forum, but here goes.

I want to be able to play a drum groove in Superior Drummer or via EZPlayer and have it recorded as it goes so I can jam to it with out caring how long it is or having to set loops. But I just cannot seem to record the op of SD2 or EZPlayer.

In other words I want to be able to set a groove in SD2 (or EZPlayer) start it playing and then record my guitar and the groove in real time. I know I can drag the groove into Reaper and then loop it and record multi-takes of the guitar but I dont want to do that. I have tried everything I can think of to either record the MIDI from EZPlayer or the audio op from SD2 but nothing gets recorded. Any ideas appreciated.

Sorted. As usual its me being dim, should have recorded the output of SD2, that works fine. Still wouldn't mind knowing how to record the MIDI though from EZPlayer, just out of interest.
