Midi Editor Row & Items Select Action

So, in the midi editor I can right mouse on the keys to select row Aaand midi items and somewhere in pref, flash when midi activity, fantastic.
So.. is there an action/script I can teach so what ever pad I play that row will get selected so I can record and regret little faster, spam delete.
Surely it is made already or Reaper laughing at me for the 4000th time? it's "right in front of me" isn't it?

Hey SmajjL, donkey.. try Record MIDI touch-replace and utilize a pad far away as an eraser.

Or just stick with the arrange items and let it create multiple lanes or what ever. R..

I mean, everything is there except, what the..
