Python script with gui?

I want to use Tkinter or Kivy gui framework with python reascript, is it possible at the moment to do this?

Yes, I tinkered with tkinter a few years back and it works on Windows at least. There was compatibility issues on OSX, but the Reaper user 'beyond' has written Beyond Python which creates a window from outside Reaper and communicates with Reaper indirectly IIRC.
