Default Looking for a nice multiband compressor.

Hi all.

I know ReaXComp is very good but I want one that I can convert to RTAS o that is already RTAS. No Waves please since it's out of my budget. I'm sure there must be a great VST multiband compressor out there. I want to use it mainly for mastering purposes.

Any recommendations are welcome.

Thanks

Ed.

DDMF has just released Lincomp, which is a linear phase multiband comp:

It's brand new so there are no reviews out yet and I haven't personally really explored it. Sounds like it's just right for your intended application though, so you might want to give the demo a try.

If you're happy with ReaXComp, could you just download the reaplug VST version from here?

Hi I did not knew that the Reaper plugins could be installed in another host. Great!

I wander if I can wrap them to RTAS. Gonna try.

Thanks

that's the only multiband compressor I can easily deal with...
great mid/side/stereo options as well

I'm confused by his decision to use linear phase filters ... think I'll email him and ask why not minimum ...
