Default 2 versions, 1 mac.

how can I install reaper stable and beta on the same machine?

won't dragging and dropping into my applications folder make the files in the library/application support/reaper all mashed up?

I created 2 folders in my Applications folder, one for stable and one for beta. Thanks to the change to make Reaper non-installer based, we can do this. Customizations and stuff go into ~/Library/Application Support/REAPER and both will load the same things.

This may result in breakage if there's something in your Library folder that the stable 2.x version doesn't support. For me so far so good, though I haven't used Reaper a load in the last few months.
