Default BIG TCP labels

It would be great to see a configurable way of getting massive, hideous text labels to appear on the TCP when tracks were tall enough.

Possible options:

1. Display massive labels on TCP when vertical space available
2. Massive label font; font size || minimum/maximum font size
3. Scale text to keep whole name visible and as big as possible || keep all text same size and truncate names that don't fit
4. Don't display small (ordinary) label if displaying massive label
5. Display massive label text on as many lines as possible

etc.

Thoughts? :-)

(Forgiveness if this has already been asked for.)

That'd be handy when you're looking at a monitor in the control room while you're tracking in one of the other rooms, certainly!

+1. I too really wish there was more room for the name and number. My preferred way of working is with ReaConsole, but its a trick to see the names...

For me its more about the design of the TCP itself: I want to be able to read the names without having to make the strips super huge as in your example...

I don't think the master belongs there at all: the master should be somewhere where you can get to it without having to scroll at all - it needs a good home....

I wouldn't say my eyesight is bad, but I'd find it handy even when I'm sitting right in front of the monitor! It's all about making things really, painfully-clearly identifiable, for me. :-)

I'll go so far as to say my eyesight IS poor - so I use colors to help. Having a bigger font would also be a boon.
