Default FX on master vs track/bus

Hi,
Does Reapers mastertrack use only one core to process audio?
Is there no anticipative FX processing on the master track?
I noticed today as you can see in the attached pictures that the same plugins (Kotelnikov GE and Slick EQ M by Tokyo Dawn Labs) use a lot more real time cpu when inserted on the mastertrack.
This is an older laptop, and the differrence between where i use the plugins is huge..

A workaround is to put the plugins in a bus and route everything through that bus and treat that as a mastertrack.

*Edit:
Sorry, should have searched a little more before asking..
There is no AfxP on the mastertrack and thats the reason for the higher cpu usage.

Yes. It's best to set up a default template with such buss and never use the master track for anything but the meter.
